Shower Installation
Most of a shower’s plumbing is hidden behind the wall — and a leak back there can do real damage before you ever see it. RapidsServe installs shower plumbing, valves, trim, and shower doors clean, leak-free, and to code. Call 1-844-6RAPIDS.

Signs your shower valve needs replacing
- The shower head keeps dripping after you turn it off
- Water turns suddenly hot or cold when someone flushes a toilet
- The handle is stiff, loose, or hard to turn
- Weak water pressure in the shower only
- Water stains or soft spots on the other side of the shower wall
Why hire a licensed plumber for your shower
A shower valve that isn’t installed right can leak inside the wall for months. RapidsServe is fully licensed and follows building codes on every installation — correct valves, proper connections, and a pressure test before the wall is closed up. When a permit is required, we pull it and see the work through inspection.
Shower questions
Do you do tile and remodeling?
No. We don’t lay tile or do bathroom remodeling. We handle the shower plumbing — valves, supply lines, and drains — and we install shower doors. If your project needs tile, your tile installer or contractor takes care of that, and we’ll coordinate the plumbing around their schedule. More on remodel plumbing.
Do you install shower doors?
Yes. We install glass and framed shower doors, set level and sealed so they close smoothly and keep water in the shower.
Can you replace just the valve without redoing the whole shower?
Often, yes. Many valve replacements can be done through the wall behind the shower or with a small opening around the trim. We’ll explain your options before we start.
Will I know the price before you start?
Yes. We confirm timing and pricing before any work starts. Financing is also available.
What areas do you serve?
We cover the corridor from South Raleigh to Fayetteville, plus Roanoke Rapids, Rocky Mount, and Wilson. See all of our service areas.
